The Joint Biannual Circle 6th UNI Asia & Pacific Women’s Conference and UNI APRO Regional Conference held at Bangkok, Thailand from November 15-16, 2024, and November 20-22, 2024

Dear Members,
I am pleased to share with you the key highlights from the 6th UNI Asia & Pacific Women’s Conference and the UNI APRO Women Conference, held in Bangkok, Thailand. These important events brought together more than 600 trade unionists, including 200 women from 22 countries, under the theme ,"Together to Transform for Gender Equality."
The conferences focused on increasing women’s representation in unions, fighting violence and harassment, addressing the gender pay gap, and promoting a sustainable future.
Our FNPO delegation was well-represented, with leaders and members, including:

Highlights from Key Speakers
Christy Hoffman, the General Secretary of UNI Global Union, discussed challenges like the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), climate change, and political efforts to weaken workers’ rights. She stressed the importance of standing together globally to fight corporate greed and protect workers.
Rajendra Acharya, Regional Secretary for UNI Asia & Pacific, raised concerns about how market-driven policies and the gig economy are increasing exploitation and eroding labor rights.
Sivaji Vasireddy, Secretary-General, highlighted the vital role women play in unions. He said:
“Women’s active participation in unions strengthens the fight for workers’ rights and creates positive changes for everyone. Their voices are essential for shaping the future of the workforce.”
He also emphasized that having women in leadership positions is key to achieving gender equality and ensuring a better future for all workers.
Empowerment and Solidarity
These conferences were a turning point for FNPO’s women delegates, who learned valuable lessons and built connections with global leaders. The events reinforced the idea that empowering women in the workplace is not just right—it is necessary for the growth of unions and the well-being of all workers.
The belief that “When women rise, the entire workforce rises with them” was echoed throughout the conferences. Women’s leadership in unions improves workplace conditions, brings inclusivity to decisions, and strengthens unity to fight workplace injustices.
FNPO’s Commitment
FNPO has always been a strong advocate for workers' rights, especially for women and marginalized groups. Under the leadership of Sivaji Vasireddy, FNPO has addressed many complex labor issues and ensured that workers’ voices are heard internationally.

The Joint Biannual Circle Conferences of NAPE Group C, NAPE Postmen & MTS and NUGDS of AP Circle

The Joint Biannual Circle Conferences of NAPE Group C, NAPE Postmen & MTS and NUGDS of AP Circle were successfully conducted from December 01.12.2024 to 03.12.2024, at Tobacco Merchant Kalyana Mantapam, Elluru.
Sri D Kishanrao Garu Former Secretary-General of FNPO and Sri Vasireddy Sivajii Garu, General Secretary and Secretary-General of FNPO, Sri N Mujawar GS NUPE PM &MTS , Sri M.Ramkumar CS NAPEc Telangana, Sri Srikar Babu garu SPOs Eluru, Sri J Prasadbabu garu Retr SSPOs, Naveen Sai CS NUR4 graced the event as chief guests. The conferences witnessed a massive attendance of delegates and visitors.
The reception committee, led by Sri G.Venkatarao provided exceptional hospitality, accommodation, and delicious food. The cultural program during the opening session was a marvelous addition.

Union Network International (UNI) Global Federation ,Japan Laison Council and Indian Laison Council was conducted a seminar at Hotel Grand Minerva, Secunderabad from 15.10.24 to 16.10.24

Under the Union Network International (UNI) Global Federation ,Japan Laison Council and Indian Laison Council was conducted a seminar at Hotel Grand Minerva, Secunderabad from 15.10.24 to 16.10.24 with the delegates from the all affiliated unions in India on empowerment of youth and women, work place safety environment, leadership qualities, role of leaders in digitalised environment.
This seminar provided a valuable opportunity not only for networking but also for learning from each other and from our Japan Delegation. Seminars like these are excellent for fostering connections, building stronger ties and encouraging collaboration, as well as offering a chance to step away from our routine work life and reflect on what it means to be a union leader and member.

On 01.09.2024 the notified Women's Trade Union Seminar

Today on 01.9.2024 the notified Women's Trade Union Seminar under the banner of FNPO-UNI Global Union organized by NAPE, Group-C West Bengal Circle held at Kolkata GPO Auditorium Hall.
Rajat S Das Inaugurated the TU Seminar stating the needs of Women's Seminar, CCS (conduct Rules) CCS(RSA) Rules, Trade Union history, role of FNPO & it's affiliated Unions in Postal Department-Management as well as role of UNI Global Union.
Kaushik Chakraborty, CS-Gr C and Vice President FNPO placed key note address particularly needs of women's important role in Trade Union field.
Co-ordinators sister Moumita Sen & Sangita Koley spokes and organised the entire Seminar.
68 Participants attended from different Divisions and 22 spokes on women's related problems at the working place and TU different issues.
Some Resolutions adopted in the Women's Trade Union Seminar.
Our SG-FNPO Vasireddy Sivaji also addressed over phone and appreciated the very disciplined gathering.
A woman Sub-committee was formed for the strength of FNPO women power.
Overall the Seminar was excellent in the eye of the Participants as expressed in the house.
Our GPO team made excellent arrangements along with good quality foods sponsored by our WB Circle Group-C Association.

On 07/07/2024, a defense seminar was conducted for women members through the FNPO Union at Kolhapur

On 07/07/2024, a defense seminar was conducted for women members through the FNPO Union at Kolhapur. All the women members enthusiastically participated in the seminar. Various questions regarding the problems faced by women in the office were raised and positively discussed. Respected Mr. A.Y. Salve Sir gave valuable guidance regarding CCS (Conduct) Rules and Defense.
To organize this program, General Secretary Mr. Nisar Mujawar, Divisional Secretary Hon. Mr. Anand Gawli, and Assistant Circle Secretary Mr. Yogesh Samdolikar played important roles. FNPO President Mr Sunil Zunjarrao and Circle Secretary Mr. Santosh Kadam wished all the best for the seminar and encouraged the Kolhapur team to organize such programs.
All the women members expressed their satisfaction with the support received from the Circle/Division level of the organization. In today's program, Dr. Mrs. Sharmila Patil, MD Ayurveda, guided all the women on health. Organized by the FNPO Team Kolhapur, the event was well attended. Special thanks to Mrs. Rina Patil and her team for their efforts.

Silver Jubilee All India Conference of the National Association Postal Employees Group-C was held at Jalriya Matt, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh from June 9th to June 11th, 2024

I'm thrilled to share that the Historical Silver Jubilee All India Conference of the National Association Postal Employees Group-C was held at Jalriya Matt, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh from June 9th to June 11th, 2024, in a magnificent manner.
On June 9th, the opening session took place at 5 pm, chaired by Sri Mahesh Kashyap, NAPEc Circle Secretary. Ms. Priti Agarwal, PMG Indore, attended as the guest of honor. Sri Sivaji Vasireddy, SG FNPO, inaugurated the conference, while Sri D. Kishanrao, Ex GS NAPE-C, delivered the keynote address. The conference was graced by the presence of Sri Sunil Zunjarrao, President FNPO, Sri NK Tyagi, GS NUPE R3, Sri Nisar Mujawar, GS NUPE PIV, Sri M K Sharma, GS NUR IV, Sri PS Babu, Ex GS NAPE-C, and Sri Rajat S Das, Ex-President NAPEc CHQ, B.Shivakumar EX SG FNPO.
On June 10th, 2024, at 10 am, the delegate session commenced with vibrant participation. Delegates deliberated on various agenda items such as postal sectional programs, organizational/financial reviews, the future of the DoP, technology-related issues, the 8th CPC, restoration of OPS, cadre restructuring, and more. The General Secretary addressed the issues raised by delegates in detail. Membership subscription was raised to Rs. 100 from Rs. 70, and now, non-gazetted Group NFG (HSG-I) officials can also become members of the NAPEc union. These amendments were made during the AIC.
On June 11th, 2024, during the elections, Sri Ranjan Kr Tiwary, Sri Sivaji Vasireddy, Sri Dhananjay Raut, and Sri Manoj Kumar Kaushik were unanimously elected as President, General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, and Financial Secretary, respectively.
Over 1000 delegates and visitors attended the conference, making it a resounding success. The reception committee, headed by Sri Mahesh Kashyap, Sri Abdul Farid Qureshi, Anil Kaushal, Mukhesh Kumbhkar, Dhirendra Singh Rathore, and their team, provided excellent lodging and boarding arrangements for the delegates and visitors. I convey special thanks to Sri Ravindra Sharma ji under his supervision delicious food was served to the participants. I extend my sincere thanks to all NAPEc members for unanimously electing me as General Secretary for the third time.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed leaders and dedicated members of the NAPE union who traveled from all corners of the nation to grace the Silver Jubilee All India Conference in Ujjain. Your unwavering affection and steadfast support toward our union are deeply appreciated and profoundly moving. As I embark on my third term as General Secretary for NAPE Group-C, I am resolutely committed to tirelessly advocating for the welfare of our employees and fortifying the union’s foundation. Your continued support and camaraderie, which have been pillars of strength over the years, are indispensable as we collectively strive towards our shared goals and aspirations. Additionally, I extend special thanks to the Ujjain team and the MP Circle team for infusing life into this event through their impeccable hospitality.

Joint conversation in the name of Unified Forum for central and state Govt. Employees Welfare Federation was held on the 5th of May 2024

Through the joint efforts of our Union FNPO (All Groups) Purulia Division and the Paschim Banga Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Federation, Purulia District; our first joint conversation in the name of Unified Forum for central and state Govt. Employees Welfare Federation was held today i.e. on the 5th of May, Sunday from 10 am at Rabindra Bhaban Purulia. We raised our voices in detail before the forum regarding the present situation of Political Pressure over the members of the FNPO (All Groups) throughout the West Bengal Circle and how to overcome the present situation. We also raised our voices about how the administration from the top to the bottom of the Department of Post throughout the circle acts as the leader of a particular political party. Prominent trade union leaders throughout the district in favor of Paschim Banga Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Federation, Purulia District were present and spoke about different issues. Paschim Banga Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Federation, Purulia District assured us of all types of support if needed as per the rules from the day. we convey our sincere thanks to the President of the Paschim Banga Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Federation, Purulia District.

Farewell function to Shri Alok Sharma, retired Director General Posts at Meerut University on 21.4.24.

FNPO team under the leadership of Ashok Sharma RR Bareilly region organised farewell function to Shri Alok Sharma, retired Director General Posts at Meerut University on 21.4.24. SG FNPO also attended and appreciated the worthy services of Sri Alok ji. The officer dealt issues with human touch and brought so many reforms in the department with transparency. He is a kind hearted and daring officer too. On behalf FNPO and NAPEc small felicitation is also done to Mr and Mrs Alok Sharma on this auspicious occasion. The Meerut team made good arrangements. FNPO once again conveyed wishes for his post retirement life 🎊

26th NAPEc Maharashtra Circle Conference

26th NAPEc Maharashtra Circle Conference held at Residence Club, Buldana from 31.3.24 to 2.4.2024 under the chairmanship of Sri RH Guptha. Sivaji Vasireddy SG FNPO & GS NAPEc, Sunil Jhunjha Rao FNPO president, Ashutosh Deshpande Vice President FNPO, Nisaar Mujawar GS NUPE PIV, TN Rahate Ex SG FNPO, Mahendra Singh ACS NUR3, AK Salvi Ex CS, SSP Buldana are attended as Guests and addressed the gathering. During the Subjects committee meeting all the division secretaries and RRs expressed their views on various postal employees problems. GS has given clarification and explained the developments in the department. GS also appealed to all leaders to increase good strength in all cadres under Maharashtra FNPO. On 2.4.24 during elections RH Guptha, Santosh Yadav, Santosh Suresh Kadam, Dhananjay Ravut and Mahadev Gopalgharey are unanimously elected as Circle President, Working President, Circle Secretary, Deputy Circle Secretary and Circle treasurer.

Nagpur City Divn Union office

FNPO formation strategies are discussed at Nagaur only and the City is called the Birth place of FNPO. In such a place today 31.3.2024 in the capacity of the Secretary General union office inauguration done by me. it's a pride and privileged moment. Hence my heart is filled with happiness. I congratulate Dhanunjay Raut DS/ ACS and team FNPO Nagpur City division for getting union office.

17th Circle Conference of National Association of Postal Employees Group C Punjab Circle held at Jalandhar on 18.03.24 to 19.03 24 under the president ship of Circle President Saurabh Mittal. Secretary General FNPO and General Secretary NAPE C CHQ Sh.Sivaji Vassireddy, Sh.Nisar Mujwar General Secretary National Union of Postman and MTS staff,Sh. Prerit Kumar AGS NAPE C, Sh.L.D.Kaushik General Secretary Pensioner Association, Sh.Jorawar Singh Circle Secretary Haryana Circle and Sh.Sribhagwan Yadav Ex Financial Secretary also attended the conference. S.Daljit Singh, IRS , Assistant Commissioner CGST Jalandhar Circle and former International Hockey player was chief guest on this occasion. Sachin Kharb Chairman Postal & RMS Cooperative Bank Ambala also invited in the conference as guest of honor. Balraj Kumar Circle Secretary Postman Union and Kanwaljeet Singh Circle Secretary RMS unions has also attended the conference. The 24th All India conference of National Union Of RMS & MMS Mail Guard & MTS Group "C" was held at Saini Ashram, Haridwar. Open session was innaugrated and addressed by Sri Sivaji Vasireddy, SG, FNPO & G.S, NAPE Group "C". Many problems and issues were discussed. Sri Nisar Mujawar, GS, NUPE, Postman & MTS, Sri N.K.Tyagi, GS, NUR-III, Sri M.K Sharma, G.S, NUR-IV, Sri Prerit Kuma, AGS, NAPE C, Sri Jorabar Singh, C.S, NAPE, Group C, Haryana Circle, Sri Sachin Kharab, Chairman, Sri Sandeep Guliya, Vice Chairman, Ambala cooperative bank, Sri L D Kaushik, GS, PPWA, Sri Bhagwan, Ex. Treasurer, CHQ , Sri Devender Kumar Ex CS NUR3 Delhi circle & other leaders also addressed the gathering. Many delegates participated in the discussion and detailed clarification given by the CHQ leaders.

Sri Nirmal Das, Sri M.K Sharma & Sanjay Kumar Suman were elected as President, General Secretary & Treasure respectively. FNPO conveys best wishes to the newly elected team. Excellent arrangements were made by the RMS team Dehradun and Uttarakhand circle union.

29th Tamilnadu Circle Conference

Dear friends
29th Circle Conference was held at Courtallam during the period 05th Feb to 07th Feb. Shri. Shivaji Vassireddy SG (FNPO) & GS NAPE GRC, Shri. D. Kishan Rao former SG & GS, Shri. P.S.Babu former GS , Shri. R. Saravanan Ex AGS, Circle Secretary and President , Shri. N.J.Uthayakumaran ex Circle Secretary, Shri. P.Sugumaran CS NUPE GRC, Shri.R.Murali CS R3. Shri. G. Anthony CS Civil Wing, Shri. K.V. Sudeer Kumar CS Kerala Circle, M.Duraisamy ex RS Western Region, K. Mohan Rao Ex adhoc comittee member Krishnagiri, Shri. S.Sathiyamoorthi ex CVP, Shri. Manivelan ex CVP, Smt T.K. Chandraprabha ex ACS attended the conference as special guests.
1st day started with flag hoisting (National flag & Union flag) followed by registeration of delegates and visitor's. Lighting of Kuthuvallukku, welcome address, Special address by GS and other guests. On 2nd day subject comittee - DS were allowed to present their grievances. CS replied to the queries raised followed by GS. On 3rd day the session started with the speech of GS and ended with election of new office bearers. Conference was smooth.
Many lady members attended the conference which was really encouraging.

17th All India Conference of National Union of Grameena Dak Sevaks(FNPO) held at Hotel Nalanda, Calicut(Kozhikode) from 19.11.23 to 20.11.23 under the chairmanship of Sri Chitrasena, CHQ President. MP Calicut, Sivaji Vasireddy SG FNPO & GS NAPE c, D.Theagarajan Ex SG FNPO, Rajat S Das Ex CHQ President NAPEc, B.Shivakumar Ex SG FNPO, Calicut DCC President, Nissar Mujawar, GS NUPE PM&MTS Local INTUC and other Trade Union leaders, Johnson Avokkaram Ex CS NAPEc Kerala, Chandra Babu AGS NAPEc CHQ, Sudheerkumar, Mahesh, Naveen Paul all FNPO affiliated Kerala Circle Secretaries, Muralidharan NUR3 President are attended as guests and addressed the gathering. Audiences enjoyed the Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance during open session. About various problems facing by the GDS employees discussed and decided to make the proposed December strike a grand success for achievement of legitimate long pending GDS demands. Three-day conference organized by DGB in Hattingen, Germany

Greetings, everyone. I'm Poornima, representing the Bangalore South Division of the NAPE, FNPO postal union in India. I recently had the privilege of attending a three-day conference organized by DGB in Hattingen, Germany, from October 30th to November 1st. This event centered around the vital topic of women's empowerment and featured participants from various countries, offering valuable insights into diverse cultures, perspectives, policies, and laws concerning women's progress for a better society. During the conference, we also discussed our ongoing UNI women mentoring program, generously sponsored by DGB bildungsurlaub.
On the evening of November 1st, we had the unique opportunity to explore Hattingen, Germany, including its medieval core and the intriguing abandoned steel mill, during a town tour.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to my Union, Secretary-General, ex-Secretary-General, Circle Secretary, and Divisional Secretary for affording me the chance to participate in this meaningful event. Furthermore, I wish to express my thanks to UNI Asia Pacific Women and DGB for making this enriching experience possible.

The 27 th Bi-ennial NAPE,Gr-C(FNPO) Odisha Circle

The 27 th Bi-ennial NAPE,Gr-C(FNPO) Odisha Circle Conference held from 23rd to 24th September 2023 at KT Global school, Burenai, Khodra District.

The Open Session took place on 24.9.23 at 11am under the Presidentship of Sri Ramchandra Das.

The Delegate Session held from 23.9.23 at 3pm in the same venue where Sri Vasireddy Sivaji, SG FNPO & GS NAPEc, Sri Ranjan Mohanty, Joint Secretary of All India Income tax officers union, Sri Rajat S Das, Ex CHQ President, Sri Kaushik Chakraborty CS NAPEc WB, Sri Manojkumar Kaushik FS NAPEc CHQ, Sri Sarojkanti Dey, CHQ member, Sri Ravindra Patnaik CS NUR3, Sri Chandramani Meher, CS NUPE PIV , Sri Goutam Das CS NUGDS, Sri LD Kaushik GS PPWA, Sri Dileep Das CS WB PPWA, and other dignitaries were present. A beautiful cultural program also organised and felicitated to recently retired senior members.

Circle Secretary Sri Maojkumar Panigrahi placed the Report on activities of the Circle Association which is duly approved by the house. The present circle team worked effectively and succeeded in opening branches in all divisions 19/19 u der Odisha circle. Many delegates participated in the debate about sectional problems.

Thereafter Sri Vasireddy Sivaji, SG-FNPO and GS-Gr C elaborately placed his observations and categorically replied to the questions raised by the valued Delegates covering all the points. All the guests also shared their views before the house.

In the closing Session of 27th Circle Conference Sri Trolacham Baria *, *Sri Manojkumar Panigrahi * and *Sri Saroj Kumar Bhara unanimously elected as Circle President, Circle Secretary and Circle Treasurer.

Finally concluded the Conference with the vote of thanks to all the participants, guests, dignitaries and the team of Reception Committee to who made excellent arrangements for all and for making the Circle Conference a Grand Success.. CHQ conveys best wishes to the newly elected office bearers.

The UNI World Congress opens with a bang!

Today the UNI Global Union World Congress opened with a bang. Leaders such as Senator Bernie Sanders, UFCW President Marc Perrone and SEIU President Mary Kay Henry electrified the gathering of over 1,200 trade union leaders from 109 countries. ⚡

A beacon of progressive politics worldwide, Senator Sanders powerfully advocated for income equality, workers' rights and building trade union power.

“With all the new technologies out there and all the wealth that exists, we must change the reality" said Sanders. "So few have so much, and so many have so little, and it is the trade union movement who will bring about that change.”

🛣️ Under the banner of Rising Together, speakers such as the Mayor of Philadelphia Jim Kenney, AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler, SEIU President Mary Kay Henry, Danny Bauder UFCW President Marc Perrone and UNI World President Ruben Cortina all took the stage by storm, setting the path for a successful World Congress. The opening ceremony was M'Ced by SAG-AFTRA Executive Director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland.

The opening also featured a Journey though American Music, which culminated in Kathy Sledge singing her hit "We are Family."

1st divisional conference of newly formed divisional branch of NAPE, Group C & NUGDS, Vaishali division, Hajipur was held on 06-08-23 at Hajipur H.O, which was inaugurated by Sivaji Vasireddy ,S.G FNPO & G.S, NAPE, Group C. S.G addressed the gathering and discussed the important issues and the recent developments in the department. He also requested maximum numbers of officials to attend the parliament March, scheduled on 10-08-23 at Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi for restoration of old pension scheme. The gathering was also addressed by Sri B K Mishra, Circle Secretary, NAPE, Group C, Bihar Circle, Sri Sidheswar Kumar, SPOs, Vaishali division, Sri Prerit Kumar, AGS, Sri Ajay Kumar, Circle Secretary, Postman & MTS, Sri Avinash Kumar Singh, Circle Secretary, NUR- III, Sri Manish Kumar, acting Circle Secretary, NUR- III, Sri Navin Kumar Singh, Circle Secretary, NUR- IV, Sri Mahesh Paswan, Circle Secretary, NUGDS. Sri Abhishek Kumar, Sri Sumant Kumar & Sri Pawan Kumar Jha were unanimously elected as president, divisional secretary & treasurer. FNPO conveys its best wishes to newly elected office bearers. Nearly 51 members joined in Group,c and the efforts made by Sri BK Misra and Prerit are appreciated. On 7.8.23 FNPO delegation met I/c CPMG and DPS HQRs and discussed about local pending issues. 💐💐

On 28.5.2023 by lightning lamp Sivaji Vasireddy, SG FNPO inaugurating 'Trade union workshop' on CCS Conduct Rules, CCS RSA Rules ....Organized by West Bengal PM&MTS union at Kolkata GPO auditorium . Nisar Mujawar GS NUPE PM&MTS, BM Ghosh Sr FNPO leader, Soma Ghosh CS NUPE PM&MTS also attended and addressed the work Shop. Mr Avijit Das ASP Sealdah RMS and Sri Arun Sarkar Retd SSPOs attended as guests for CCS Conduct Rules Subjects. More than 70 members from WB circle attended as delegates.

The 25 th Bi-ennial NAPE,Gr-C(FNPO) Gujarat Circle Conference held from 21st to 23rd May 2023 at Prerna Dham, Praneta Parivar Trust Bhavnath, Taleti Junagadh .

The Open Session took place on 21st May at 10am under the presidentship of Sri Pragnesh Patel.

The Delegate Session held from 22nd to 23rd May at the same venue where Sri Vasireddy Sivaji, Sri Rajat S Das and other dignitaries were present.

Circle Secretary Sri Hemant R Pandit placed the Report on activities of the Circle Association and which is duly approved by the house.

The Circle Treasurer Sri HG Sanol placed the two years audited Accounts for the last two years and the same is adopted by the house.

Thereafter Sri Vasireddy Sivaji, SG-FNPO and GS-Gr C elaborately placed his observations and categoriycally replied to the questions raised by the valued Delegates covering all the points.

In the closing Session of 25th Circle Conference Sri Pragnesh Patel, Sri Hemant R Pandit and Sri HM Yadav unanimously elected as Circle President, Circle Secretary and Circle Treasurer.

12th FNPO Federal Congress

Dear colleagues,

FNPO 12th federal congress was conducted at Fruitwalle, Devachi Alandi, PUNE, Maharashtra from 16-04-2023 to 17-04-2023 under the Chairmanship of Shri N.K.Tyagi, President FNPO & GS NUR3 in a grandmanner.The open session of the event commenced at 3 Pm on on 16-04-2023 at 3pm. Shri K.K.Sharma, CPMG, Maharashtra Circle, Shri Ramachandra Jayabhaye, PMG Pune Region, Ex.Secretary Generals of FNPO Shri D.Theagarajan, Shri T.N.rahate, Shri B.shivakumar, Shri Sivaji Vasireddy, GS NAPE GR'C Shri N Mujawar, GS PM&MTS , Shri Anish Mishra, GS Civil Wing union, Shri Y.D.Yadu, GS Admin Union, Shri MK Sharma GS NUR4, Shri P.U.Muralidharan, GS NUGDS are graced the Opensession .Keynote address delivered by Deputy SG. CPMG and PMG has explained about the new schemes introduced by the Department for delivering better services to the Nation while addressing in the session . They also made an appeal to the staff unions for extending cooperation to the administration for smooth functioning of the department. Shri Theagarajan narrated the history of FNPO and presented Govt policies and the role of the unions. Many of the delegates discussed postal staff sectional problems and need of union strength. Sivaji Vasireddy GS NAPE c also expressed his views on organizational matters, and in particular how FNPO is committed towards staff and strategies about next membership verification. FNPO resolution passed that our priority should be the fight for scraping of NPS and restoration of OPS. Remaining all other senior leaders and affiliated General Secretaries also addressed the congress.

On 17.4.2023 elections were conducted for the office bearers . Sri Sunil Jhunjarao (Maharashtra), Sri Sivaji Vasireddy (Andhrapradesh) and Sri Jagadish Sharma (Delhi) have been elected with out contest as President, Secretary General and Financial Secretary ,respectively .

The reception committee headed by the core and dedicated crew of FNPO Maharashtra has made an excellent arrangements and served delicious food for the guests. I convey my sincere thanks to the reception committee on behalf of FNPO for their hospitality. I express my greetings and congratulations to all the newly elected office bearers of FNPO too.

I appeal to all FNPO fraternity kindly keep good and fair relations among all affiliated unions without any discrimination and indiffernces . Let all of us strive hard to improve our strength with out any barrier among the wing to which one belong. A member in FNPO is the potential and primary identity regardless of the constituent union. All should work for the welfare of staff and strengthening of FNPO by fighting out our rights .

I am accessible to all at any point of time to see that our issues and activites are dealt in right forum to find solutions. So never hesitate to contact and converse with me in all aspects .

I also convey my sincere thanks to all Senior leaders, affiliated unions General Secretaries, Circle Secretaries, Divisional Secretaries and all the members who have given this opportunity for serving as SG FNPO. I will always try my level best and can not leave any stones unturned to upkeep the formidable faith reposed on me.
