SUPREME COURT OF INDIA RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Issue of Notional Increment Good News for Pensioners After OM of DOPT that as per orders of Supreme Court, policy regarding grant of Notional Increment to retirees of 30June/ 31 Dec is under Policy formulation. A review petition was filed in Supreme Court by Govt of India and on decision it was directed that as per interim orders, arrears of Notional increment should be granted only after 1-5-2023. The said review Petition has been dismissed by Supreme Court on 18-12-2024. It is a big decision in favour of Pensioners-

For the information of all our group members to know that all the procedures we have performed in SB & NSC branches were drastically changed by giving up all laborious works /forms done away with in our SB branch.SB 84 SB 41 NC1 etc together with done away with by the forms contained in the above order under head SB ORDERS NEW FORM. Have a look on English version of forms which were simplified on modification made easy to public. Even in as I know change of the modus operandi of functioning of Post Offices, the administration is irregularly resorting to clubbed methods of the procedures implied in CBS manual which replaced SB Volume 1 & 2 and Dureja's Guide on SB rulings in nutshell. The dual method of quoting rules/procedures should amount to Technical Flaws in almost all cases of frauds, misappropriation, embezzlement etc. Hence the charges quoted in non issue of SB 41 notices and non preparation and submission of lists of not submitted for adding interest and discontinued RD accounts etc.20/12/2024

New policy instead of 8th pay commission?
The Center is not giving any clarification on the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. However, Financial Express said that the wage revision policy should be changed. The Center has explained that it intends to implement the wage revision policy at various levels based on the performance of the employees or in accordance with inflation. With the 7th Pay Commission coming to an end, there is a lot of excitement over the next central action.

One land mark Judgement was delivered by Supreme Court on 09.12.24 posted above and as per para14 and 15 it was stated that " it was a settled principle of law that when one person has approached the Court and obtained a declaration of law in his Favour others similarly ought to be extended the benefit without the need for them to go to Court " and there is no justification to penalize them for not having litigated. They too shall be entitled to same benefits as the petitioners'".
